On the evening of Wednesday, May 25th, UnitedWomen hosted its very first Dinner Party. Nearly forty women gathered at the Spaghetti Factory in downtown Denver for an evening filled with laughter, conversation and delicious pasta. Setting aside the demands of family, work and home for a few hours, the women were able to enjoy the company of each other in a relaxed atmosphere. It was an excellent opportunity to cultivate current relationships and get to know some new friends as well. A fun time was had by all.
Plans for the next dinner party is already in the works. Keep an eye on DenverUnited.com for more details in the days to come. In the meantime, "save the date" by marking your calendars for 7 PM on the second Thursday of each month.
If you're a woman looking to get connected at Denver United, you're also invited to check out the Aspire Bible Study. Led by Connections Pastor Lori Sill, this group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month to study the women of the Bible and build strong friendships.
