On Saturday, April 2nd, Denver United hosted its first official GO Day. Sixteen individuals, armed with willing hearts of service and $10 in their pockets, took to the streets looking to impact the lives of others through practical acts of kindness. They gave out 300 bottles of water, as well as breakfast sandwiches and coffee. They also talked and prayed with dozens of people at the 16th Street Mall and Civic Center Park. It was a perfect opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people in our community.
The next GO Day will be May 14th. Join us as we take God's love to the streets of Denver and serve at Streets Hope, a ministry dedicated to helping women looking to escape the sex trade industry. For more information, visit the Denver United website.
