Commissioning Bob Baker As Elder

 
On February 27th, having been recognized by many for his leadership within the church, Denver United's local elders commissioned Bob Baker to be the church's newest elder.  The congregation lead by members of the Elder Board prayed for Bob and his wife Carol during the second service. 

Pastor Austin Pyle Ordained

 
On February 27th, the Elders of Denver United ordained Austin Pyle, who has served faithfully as Worship Pastor since the church's first meeting in the basement days.  Having recently earned his minister's license, the Elders honored Pastor Austin with ordination, which formally recognizes that an individual has been called by God to ministry.  The congregation, led by members of the Elder Board, prayed for him in the second morning service.

The Thorn Comes To Denver United

On February 20th, special guest John Bolin preached at both morning services to introduce Denver United to The Thorn, a dramatic portrayal of the passion of Jesus.  In an inspiring message entitled "Unstoppable," John encouraged us to step out from our comfort zones and share our testimonies so that the world might know the hope that Christ brings.  He also invited all to join him in presenting The Thorn to the people of Denver this Easter season.
